WEBSHAKERS MERGES WITH NEW AGE WEB SERVICES
Two leading companies merge to form a complete interactive studio
Charlottesville, VA., December 20, 1999 - Webshakers today announced the completion of their merger with
New Age Web Services. Based out of Reston, VA, New Age Web Services is one of the leading hosting providers
catering to local businesses. Based out of Charlottesville, VA, Webshakers is a premier developer of shockwave
games and web content. The new company will retain the Webshakers name and logo.
"I speak for everyone in congratulating all parties involved and thanking everyone's hard work," said Ronald
Trang, President of Webshakers. "With this merger, we are now stronger and able to offer more services to our
customers."
The new company will still be based out of Webshakers offices in Fairfax. The staff at New Age will continue
reside in the hosting center in Reston.
"We've worked with Webshakers so much we felt like we were pretty much one team anyway. This just formalizes it."
said Imran Niazi, formerly the President of New Age Web Services and now a co-founder of the new Webshakers.
The introduction of hosting services to Webshakers allows the company to develop games that require more complex
interaction with the server. One of the first releases will be to license the Webshakers portfolio as an ASP model.
